Salam... Base is made thin than collector and emitter because we want to avoid recombination process occur in base.
assalammualaikum.. base is made thin than emitter and collector because it want to make tgh electron and hole is more easy to move in collector and emitter and want to avoid recombination process occur in base.

salam.... base is made thin than emitter and collector because to minimize injected carrier recombination before it reaches the collector and to avoid recombination process occur in base.
assalammualaikum.. base is thin than emitter and collector so that electron and hole is more easy to move in collector and emitter. Moreover we want to avoid recombination process occur in base
The three parts of a junction transistor are referred to as emitter (e), base (b), and collector (c). Between the base and emitter or between base and collector the transistor resembles two diodes or PN junctions. The secret in a successful transistor depends on the base being very thin - on the order of the depletion layer thickness. When using an NPN transistor, the collector is made positive with respect to the emitter as shown in the diagram. Such a device does not conduct any current because of the back-to-back PN junctions (one junction is reversed and the base is all depleted because of it's thinness).
Salam.. The reason in making the width of base become thinner is because to avoid recombination process from occured. Therefore, when there is a current, the current will move easily and we can avoid recombination current. -NUR HARDHILA BINTI OTHMAN- 2006688089 EEB4B
Base is made thin compare to emitter and collector because to make the recombination process occur in base is small. So, more electrons that cross the base from emitter can reach the collector.
salam.. The reason for base is made thin compare to emitter and collector because to avoid recombination occur in base.Furhermore to less current base. -nurul arina abdull razak- -2006688096-
Base is made thin compared to collector and emitter; this is to avoid electrons from recombine with holes in the base thus, to avoid leakage current to occur.
Emitter is heavily doped, while base is moderately doped and the collector is doped the lightest. band-bending occurs at both junction. then, the depletion region width in base is much wider than in emitter due to the lighter doping in base compared to the heavily doped emitter. moreover, the depletion region width on the collector is widest because do collector is doped lightest. that's why base is made thin compare to emitter and collector.
Base is made thin compare to emitter and collector because we want to avoid recombination current in base and we want to produce more current which is InE and InC.

Assalamua'laikum.. base is made thin than collector because we want to avoid recombination. the other reason is the flow of electron from emitter to collector will become very fast.
